Matt & Erika are delighted to introduce our son, Felix.

Felix was born on September 27, 2009 at 12:20am, in San Diego, California.
Seven pounds, twelve ounces, twenty and a half inches long, and exceptionally beautiful.

Felix is from the Latin, meaning happy or fortunate. It's an old name used since biblical times, and has been borne by composers, physicists, more than a dozen saints, and three popes.
Most of Erika's family on the German side doesn't have middle names, and so we've followed this lead with Felix.
